Wow! This place did not disappoint! We know sooner wish seated then our server brought complementary apple fritters with apple butter Yum! And an apple jewel with apple pineapple and orange juice. He had the farmers breakfast with the sampler of meats, and I had the chicken fried steak. Both had perfectly cooked over medium eggs. The coffee was also so delicious! Our server was Lyle and he was wonderful. Certainly not to be messed!

This was our first time in TN- and our first time in Pigeon Forge. It was a highly recommended "must go" and "don't miss" place to eat. We were not disappointed. We went for breakfast! Food: Like other restaurants bring out bread, they give you apple fritter bites and apple butter, as well as a cup of apple Julius. I was not a fan of the apple bites but it was deep fried and that type of food isn't my style. My husband loved it. I got the Smokey Mountain Biscuit Benedict. This was delicious! It came with home fries, and instead of hollandaise sauce- they use the gravy of biscuits and gravy. So good !!! My husband got the Country Boy Skillet and a side of biscuits and gravy. Oh my gosh! The biscuits and gravy were AMAZING!!! 15/10! Definitely recommend. Service: Our server was Robert. He was fantastic! Very attentive and worked very hard! He was working 4 tables at once and didn't miss a beat. I was afraid there was going to be a wait with the crowded parking lot and everyone walking in, but we walked right in and were sat. We were quickly greeted by our waiter, and was attended to in a timely manner. Ambience: It is a very large restaurant that fits a good amount of people.! It has a rustic, country cabin feel- much better than cracker barrel. The female waiters wear southern dresses to fit the vibe. There are cute fireplaces in different areas, and birds behind glass. The music fits the mood and is at perfect volume- loud enough to hear it but quiet enough to hear the people at your table. This is also a part of an apple orchard with many shops, a winery, and other things to do.

Well I enjoyed it. Food was plenty darn good and portions were reasonable but pancakes are large. Nice perk they give you apple fritters and apple juleps for the table. I found the restaurant nice and bright. My spouse ordered an omelette and really liked it. I ordered blackberry pancakes and they were very good. Minus one star for the "okay" coffee. I saw the birds mentioned in another review but cage looked clean and birds happy.

Yummy home cooking! The complimentary apple fritters and the little drink you receive when you sit down are so good!! Great to save for dessert too! I got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, fried okra and vegetable soup. It was good. We also had the chicken salad sandwich and the vegetable platter. Both dinners were good as well! They raved over the coleslaw!!

They're usually is a wait. If it's long enough, you can put your name down and walk through the general store, apple cider tasting, and gift shop. We was able to do all that until our table was called. Breakfast ends at 11, then it's lunch and dinner. Complementary bread is available. Large portions and very fulfilling. Love the outfits the servers wear. Beautiful orchard all around

This is a must stop on your next trip to Sevierville. I usually say this at the end of my reviews, but, you get this first, then the food: DO NOT fear the wait if there is one, there is so much to do here. You can go to the Apple Barn next door and check out souvenirs, merchandise, or do (free) apple cider tastings or a longer paid tasting. They also have rocking chairs outside and an outdoor fire pit. My only request: I do wish they would extend the paging system to the other buildings. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are really generous, the prices are great too. They start you with complimentary apple juleps and warm, fluffy, apple fritters and apple butter. We had: Nashville hot honey chicken Mac and cheese, chicken pot pie, and country fried steak. On top of two sides, they also give you a delicious potato soup with hearty pieces of potato. Everything was delicious, and we had no complaints! Staff is great, so friendly and accommodating.

We knew there would be a wait, it wasn't so bad. We arrived at 10:10, they said 40 minute wait, were called/seated after about 45 minutes. They do not take a phone number or give a buzzer, they page you over the speaker. That kinda stinks, because you have to be in the porch area to hear it, although there are shops to visit on the property, if you aren't near the porch you risk missing your page. There is seating outside, benches and rockers, but not nearly enough for the number of people waiting at any given time. Our server, Tonya, was a doll, she was very pleasant and checked on us over and over. The food was very good. A pile of warm apple fritters would have been enough, but we ordered food too. It was tasty, large portions, and very filling. We didn't finish all of it, but it's cause there was just no way.

Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant is a true gem! From the moment I walked in, I was charmed by the cozy country decor that immediately made me feel at home. The service was incredibly friendly and fast, which added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. But the real star of the show was the food--simply spectacular! I'll admit, I was initially a bit disappointed when my strawberry pancakes didn't look exactly like the picture, but that feeling disappeared the moment I took my first bite. The flavor was out of this world and more than made up for any visual discrepancy. Whether you're craving comfort food or just a memorable dining experience, Applewood Farmhouse is the place to go. I can't wait to come back!

A little pricy but with the complimentary Apple Julip, Apple Fritters, Apple Butter and then Apple Cake for desert, it's more reasonable. Quality was similar to Cracker Barrel but everything seemed to be made with better ingredients. Our waitress Shelby wore a "New Farmhand" shirt, but she was sweet and seemed like a pro. We really liked the atmosphere as it reminds you of your grandparents house in days gone by. I really liked the way the restaurant is divided into many different dining rooms so that the noise level doesn't reach an uncomfortable level like it does in so many restaurants today. Will definitely go again next time we're in the area.
